Teachers, educators and adults all
have an obligation to understanding the challenging landscape with regard to
bullying. Not all bullying is physical and it can be difficult for teachers to
determine when bullying has occurred.
There are several programs to choose from for professional development. One of
the programs teaches educators how to understand violence, bullying, victims
profiles, stereotyping and the root causes of bullying. Another program teaches
about gangs, nations, structure of gangs, gang involvement, motivators,
identifiers and prevention.
Professional development programs are generally 2 hours in length.
